In the ancient world, there was a country named Xihe, which located far away from the
Southeast Sea. There lived a woman named Xihe in the country, who gave birth to ten suns with Emperor Jun. Therefore, Xihe was often called Sun Goddess.

In the daytime, Xihe would send one sun to light the earth, and the next day the second.
Then the suns take turns like this. So although there were ten suns in the sky, people only saw one every day.

This picture book project is about Chinese mythology for 4-6 years old.
